My latest short film has wrapped after a one-week shoot in southwest France. The Fallen Woman is a ghost story in the classic tradition. Here’s the pitch:

When troubled therapist Nomi is stranded at a remote manor house, she witnesses the ghost of a pregnant maid who plunged to her death decades earlier. As she relives the maid’s last days in her dreams, Nomi begins to suspect that the house’s sole occupants, the enfeebled Sir Henry and his housekeeper Joyce, may be harbouring a dark secret about the tragic death…

Shooting took place at the atmospheric Château du Port Hublé in the heart of the Cognac region, with Dominic Hutton as director of photography. I wrote, directed and produced the film, based on a story devised with Sabine Smith. The cast includes Adrienne Grant (Nice Mike) as Nomi, Nicola Wright (Kill Or Be Killed) as Joyce and new talent Lola Claire as the tragic Susan.

The film is now in post production and will be cut by BAFTA-winning editor Mark Towns (The Ritual). Watch this space for further updates…
