Huge thanks to organiser Spencer Hawken and his team for pulling out all the stops at this year’s Romford International Horror Film Festival! The screening of my film The Fallen Woman went beautifully, and it was a pleasure to mingle with fans, filmmakers, artists and publishers.

Hellboy and Killer Klowns and golden idols, oh my! Amazing replicas by Mind Magic Studios.

Big thanks also to Peter Blunden for hosting a great Q&A after the screening with co-star Nicola Wright and myself! Check it out below:

One of the surprises was a superb recreation of an Eighties-style video shop (designed to tie in with the feature anthology Video Shop Tales of Terror), which featured VHS copies of festival films alongside genre greats from yesteryear!

The superb Video Dungeon, created by Singh Lall.

Gotta say, holding a VHS version of my film gave me a big frisson of fanboy glee. The tapes were created by Singh Lall, who told me at the opening party that designing them was a labour of love. Amazing work, sir.

Better rewind before I take it back…

The Fallen Woman — now available on VHS!

Well, it’s back to the drawing board now. Better get a shift on if I’m gonna submit to RIHFF 2024!

With Fallen Woman co-star Nicola Wright in the Video Dungeon!
